About The Author

Gail Bellucci is a painter, illustrator and storyteller with a background in public education at Diamond Elementary in Montgomery County, Maryland, with a career that spanned 40 years.

During her time as an art educator, she was involved with mentoring student teachers, and developing art education curriculum.

As an artist, her students learned various art making processes, including printmaking, sculpture, painting, and collage.

She paints canvas rugs depicting imaginative characters that develop into a story.

In a colorful canvas of imagination, a story comes to life that shares a message with children that teaches compassion, preservation of nature, and to never give up on their dreams.
